In 1990, visionary founder Callie Lewis-Watson brought together forty friends to present the first Forty Plus Fashion Show—a heartfelt tribute to Mildred Johnson, Houston's first Black runway model. What began as a celebration of elegance, confidence, and mature beauty has grown into one of Houston's most cherished annual traditions and an organization that continues to transform lives through scholarship and service.
Today, under the leadership of President & CEO Debra Lockett, CLW Forty Plus Models, Inc. proudly carries that legacy forward—combining the glamour of the runway with a commitment to education, mentorship, community service, and life-changing scholarships for deserving students, including those identified under the McKinney-Vento Act.

Merit and need-based scholarships for graduating high school students, with a GPA of 2.5–3.5. We proudly support McKinney-Vento students who face housing insecurity.

Empowering Students Through Scholarships
Each year, CLW Forty Plus Models, Inc. awards scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors with GPAs ranging from 2.5 to 3.5, recognizing academic achievement, perseverance, leadership, and potential. Our scholarship program also supports eligible students served under the McKinney-Vento Act, helping make higher education more accessible.
